Our team is running planned infrastructure updates to the crypto yield farming learning platform. The work is focused and time-limited - we are not rebuilding anything, just making the system more reliable for everyone who uses it.
What is happening right now
The Ytrejection platform serves learners across Guelph and the broader Ontario region who are working through structured courses on crypto yield farming fundamentals - how liquidity pools work, how rewards are distributed, and how to read protocol risk before committing any capital. During this window, our engineering team is migrating session data to a more resilient infrastructure layer and applying security patches to the live-session streaming component. Neither your course progress nor your saved learning path will be affected. Everything is preserved exactly as you left it, and your instructor's scheduled sessions will resume on the updated system.

Steps we are working through
Each phase is sequential and tracked. The platform comes back online only after all four complete successfully - partial restores are not how we operate.

Data snapshot
A full backup of all learner progress, session recordings, and personalised learning path configurations is taken and verified before anything else runs. This snapshot is the safety net - if anything goes wrong downstream, we restore from here.

Security patch
The live-session streaming layer receives a dependency update that closes a minor vulnerability identified during last week's audit. No learner data was exposed - this is a preventive measure applied on schedule, not a response to an incident.

Infrastructure migration
Session data moves to a new cluster with improved read latency, which directly reduces the lag some group-session participants noticed when switching between course modules during peak hours on weekday evenings.

Verification and restore
Automated tests run across every course module, the individual session booking system, and the instructor dashboard. Only after all checks pass does the platform come back online. We do not rush this step regardless of how the timeline looks.
